Hi guys and girls I just want to know if any one has put a 253 v8 in there rn20 and what they needed and how hard was it to change over. Thanks for your help
No to sure to be honest I'm get in it off a friend and it's out of his project ute as he is going bigger. I know it is out of some holden ( chev ) depending on where you live. I know where I live we have a few regulations when it comes to engine swaps and from what I can remember this particular v8 fits in our guidelines as not to big as it gos on power to weight and I don't have to go along with the emission crap as the car come out before we cared about the ozone. I have googled and there is no info around on ppl doing the swap into the rn20 just the latter models.
This swap is into a later truck, but the basics should be the same: Holden V8 in '95 2wd hilux extra cab conversion
