I blew the engine 3 years ago, and the truck sat for a year and a half. When I got around to fixing it, I found a crashed 87 yota' with "rebuilt" 22r on craigslist. I bought the truck for $900, swapped the engine into the 90' and sold the shell with toasted engine for $400.

Throughout the last year or so I put around 35k miles on the engine upgrading as i went with bolt ones like an Engnbldr 270/430 cam, cheap used header, and a used electric fan from an Excursion. I bought a Weber 38DGAS with Downey air cleaner for $150 out here in San Diego

I later added a bunch of exhaust goodies from LCE like their Pro Header, and full exhaust kit. I also picked up a DUI distributor which is probably worth its weight in gold. The engine is so responsive and always cranks right up.

When I blew the head gasket, i bought Engnbldr's StreetRV cylinder head, Offy intake, and threw in some ARP head studs. I am slowly working the bugs out of the engine since the new parts and Head Gasket replacement, with the help of you guys on the forum :)

Tell me what you think. Please excuse my haggard wiring, its going to be taken care of next.

It is completed now, I just have no newer pictures of the completed engine on my computer yet.
