i have a 22re with 5 speed trans out of my 89'. I just pulled motor and trans. getting ready for a 1 or 2jz swap. looking to get rid of as many parts as i can. The starter and water pump are the only parts i haven't replaced. the motor had 278,000 miles. the alternator has roughly 60k. clutch, pressure plate, and trow out bearing have about 25 or 26k. i also have all a/c parts. just let me know if you need anything. shoot me an email @. how much for the whole engine?

 

the engine is blown. i had some problems with the EGR valve. the exhaust manifold cracked, but i welded the crack. when i reinstalled the manifold, it went pow and black smoke rolled out of the hood. i have checked the block and it is in great condition. i have been planning the swap for about 2 years. at the time the truck was my only vehicle so i couldn't afford to do anything to it. i would be willing to sell the engine and trans with no accessories for $100. i also have the original wiring harness for $50. after this information let me know if this price is ok. if not you are more than welcome to make an offer. i will strongly consider all offers. i was going to put the motor on craigslist but i thought i would let my fellow minitruckers have first dibs on it.
