20 r exhaust trouble

    The bolt holt inbetween the spark plug wires for the exhaust manifold I’m guessing whoever had the truck before me broke it off or something just wondering if you need that bolt there to seal the gasket AF25AA95-A977-4CCE-878D-CFF9C675191F.jpeg

    No. The ones around the exhaust ports seal the gasket

    I believe that bolt keeps the header flange seated flat to prevent warping. Looks like not so fun repair for you :(
