i wanted to know is if anyone has thrown in an 1uzfe into a pickup and how complicated it is and if there is any pics of it barely building
I love youtube Heres a 93 x cab from down under RHD and now a gt42r turbo on it(not on at time of vid althought it sounds like it is) pushing 315hp a bit more than stock hp of the 1uz <iframe width="420" height="315" src="My 1uz 1993 hilux xtra cab - YouTube" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Heres a late 80s reg cab long bed doin what I love best sheredding rubber and smokin out the shop <iframe width="420" height="315" src="MY toyota hilux V8 - YouTube" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Heres a late model quad cab (not allowed in the states) Super charged and doesnt hook up very well. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="supercharged lexus v8 ute - YouTube" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Pretty sure all of these are from down under so if you live in smog control state it will be putting everything from the vehicle the 1uz came from EVAP, CAT, FUEL TANK and LINES, COMPUTER AND FULL WIRING HARNESS etc so no check engine light comes on and the 0bd2 monitors all run to complete and thats just to take it to smog ref so can get tags. Mounting engine and trans will prob require custom mounts, denting of rear firewall, and more than likely cutting of inner fenders not to mention relocation of accesories like P/S, A/C etc. A w58 toyota trans was used in first one it said. Not sure what drive shaft and rear axle setup I assume the drivetrain from a supra may hold up or maybe something else? It would be a lot and the sickest thing ever to have a V8 mini truck as a daily driver. Its been a dream of mine since I got the truck.
