1st Time Pinstriping

    Yeah, used the vinyl tape. Wish my hands where steady enough to paint pinstripe.

    Looks good. If you want paint but don't have the steady hands needed, you can "cheat". What I did many years ago was to mask off a pinstripe line and then sprayed it with a spray can. You can order cans with custom colors.

    I had thought about it but after rattlecanning my truck I was sick of spraying.

    silly me, thats what I thought when you said you used tape. So the red is just an applied vinyl tape?

    Yeah just picked up a roll of red vinyl pinstripe at the local parts store for like 3 bucks and slapped it on.

    Looks good - but what are the spots all over the trucks? Rain drops or tree sap?

    I had a Datsun with vinyl pinstripes, was one reason I bought the truck. PO said he did it like 20yrs previous, so id say they held up
