1983 Toyota Pickup 22R - How do I replace the windshield wiper linkage? I found an access panel on the driver side and behind the wiper motor on the passenger side but can't get the linkage out to repair the joint in the middle which has failed?

 

If you pull up on the part of the wiper that goes into the body its a cover and will allow you to remove the wipers themselves to remove the vent/cover that is underneath of them. Hopefully that helps
