Hey all! Im Jeremy from Boise ID and this is my 1980 Toyota SR5 Longbed pickup. I'm the 2nd owner and it came with all the service records since new. Very cool.
It was purchased with the intention of leaving it stock and dailying it. Yeah right....
    Day I bought it

It was a really clean truck to start out with so thats a huge help.

I didnt like the wheels so I threw on a set of stock steelies with old toyota center caps
    [IMG]

Then I picked up these 5 spoke wheels and threw some tires on them and rolled this way for a few days

There was obviously a height problem, so I did some blocks and torsion adjustments and ended up with this....

That wasn't low enough so I went a little lower...

It was lower than it looked....
One day getting some stuff from O'reileys, I got stuck on the uneven pavement, and had to get pulled off. Torsion bars hanging too low...Yes I know I could re-index them. But, I figured even at that I would want to be lower, so there was only one solution. Air psssssst.....

*Interior - Mostly stock and in nice shape. Wood Steering wheel, billet Toyota cigarette lighter, glitter red shift knob, floors and back wall done in Dynamat Xtreme, red/tan plaid shift boot

*Exterior - Stock and old. New taillight lenses, 72 Hilux rear mudflaps, rolled and pulled bed to fit wheels, swapped to 1 piece back window, 87 Toyota fuel filler hose and self vented gas cap

*Motor/Bay - Mildish wire tuck, removed emissions, Weber 32/36 carb, Red top Optima, polished fender bolts/washers, polished coolant overflow bottle

*Wheels/Tires - Cragar 69 Delux 15x7 +13mm offset, 175/55-15 Wanli tires, Bullet center caps and lug nuts

Very nice.. Two questions you didnt cut the bed right? Is the gas tank in the stock location? Obviously very nicely built...

Thanks for the nice words guys. I never really like long beds till I did this truck. The bed is cut out just enough for notch and upper link bars. Gas tank is in stock location though.

Here's a pic of the engine bay. Has a wire tuck and is kinda dirty at the moment. It's alright for what it is but Ive got a lot of plans for it and it has a long ways to go before I'm happy with it

Assuming you tucked between the fender and inner fender... I am interested in seeing it as it looks sick!
