New member here this is my first Toyota I’ve owned so I picked this 1980 up for 1200$ with a parts truck I new it needed a clutch well today the clutch gave out so a trip to autozone I have a clutch kit I’ve done clutches before 1997 ram 3500 NV4500 and a 1997 ford ranger both was pretty straight forward but I haven’t done one in a Toyota and I haven’t found a write up on it. So the kit came with a pilot bearing and throw out bearing I’m not in a position to go that deep into this as my tools are 2 hours away from me and I just have a cheap tool set so is it possible to just do the clutch and pressure plate to get me back on the road? Any tips tricks or??

You’re not going to do that with a simple tool kit. Find a shop or have it towed.

So I started on it went smooth until I found that a extension and a swivel would be words ahead
