One of my buddies bought this 1976 Toyota off a tow yard in 2012. He got it for $250 . It was in pretty good shape with a 5 speed and A/C. He ended up rebuilding the 20R but couldn’t get it running right, so he parked it in the back yard. I bought it off him a couple month ago. It was in pretty bad shape, sitting with no wheels and windows down in the desert for 6 years. I got it running by pulling the aftermarket 20 gallon tank and replacing the electric fuel pump and entire fuel system. I’ve been detailing the frame and suspension. It’s going to the paint shop tomorrow.

I’m slowly getting her together. I had new widows installed and when they cut the rear window they made it a little too big, so I’m taking it back tomorrow. Got the dash and stereo installed. Made seat brackets for the buckets and just about got the Dyna matting done. The passenger door was stuck closed, so I had my buddy who is a body and paint guy come over and after about 30 minutes he got it open. I need a new latch assembly.

 

How's progress going on this? Trying to get motivated to swap my engine out and get it running.

What headlights are those? The stocks are basically useless haha
