I recently purchased a 1975 Hilux and was wondering if a cab from a 1978 will fit. I'm guessing 75 was transition year between Gen 1 and 2. Not sure which generation mine is. Thanks!

 

75-78 should be the same. Late 72 to 74 had a shorter cab than the 75-78.

Id say its pretty involved.

body panels, wiring, anything mounted to the inner fenders, anything on the firewall, seats, carpet, all that shit has to come off or out.
