    Working on a 65 stout with a 2JZ.

I still need lots of parts but for the most part it’s getting there.

Working on that part. I’m building it for my dad so he’s thinking no turbo as he just wants to cruise to Home Depot and back lol

A Stout is rare enough to absolutely deserve the most HP you can afford to toss in it

I agree, I was looking at doing a twin turbo for myself but gotta take care of the old man. He doesn’t have the clutch foot down anymore. I just want him to enjoy his years you know?

trust me, if it were up to me I’d put a twin turbo and boost the crap out of it.

    Now you're thinkin'

What else are you doing to the Stout to compliment the swap? Has your family owned it a while?

So I got the seats embroidered with Stout on the back of the seats. The seats came out of an old prelude. I can’t find a bench seat for the life of me. I redid the entire interior and headliner etc. The stout stitching is in red. As for wheels I’m not sure yet what to do with that as I am waiting on the rear end to be completed.
The cars been in the family for a long time now! My cousin was the previous owner and we decided to keep it in the family.

I’m gonna post a list under the wants section to see if anyone has extra parts.

Very nice. What are your plans with the bedside close to the cab? Or is the panel just not installed yet?

That’s actually where the gas tank goes. It’s just not installed yet. Had to test and ensure pressure would hold up etc
