Hey fellas!! New to the group and need some advice. I have a 1990 2WD 22R with 4X4 fenders. I picked some rims for 60 bucks and cleaned them up. The wheels are 15x8.5 with -33 offset, that came off of a Ford Pickup (I need adapter to covert 5x4.5 to 5x5.5, if I am not mistaken). I've got two inch drop spindles and three inch blocks in the rear. Question is, has anyone done this setup with the -33 offset and which tire size would be best? I was thinking of 195/40/15.....Please help me out!!! oh and if I am right about the adapters, does anyone have any for sale?

Mock it up and take some measurements. I'm sure something similar has been done, but getting an answer specific to your setup can b hard to get...

If the wheels are off of a Ranger/Bronco II/ Explorer than they are 5 on 4.5 and should bolt on. If they were on a full sized pickup, F-150, Full sized Bronco ect, than they are 5 on 5.5 and will need an adapter. The best way to check about clearance really is to do a mock-up or take the wheel to an experienced tire place and let them do it. A lot of times it can save time and mistakes and most good places will be happy to help you out and give you an estimate. Hope that helps

If they are 5x5.5 dont forget that most adapters are going to be 20-30mm thick, so then you will be 8.5 wide with -53 to -63 offset.

yes the wheels are 5x5.5, Im gonna ask a tire shop if they could do a mock up for me. Should I go with a 205/50/ 15 or a 195/45/15?? well I'm gonna try it out this weekend, IF I can get the adapters somewhere out here in the Panhandle!
