    Hey all,
I'm looking for a tonneau hard shell cover for my 80' shortbed.
All I can find is a cheapy rollup that offers no security.
anyone know a site or manufacturer for such a thing??

I bought one from checkerpro before, it sits nice & flush & the can carpet the bottom side for you, but from my experience i wouldnt recommend one from there. Mine started to sag in the middle & if you one piece your tailgate, it would be hard to open. I think you should decide what your going to be doing inside your bed, if you get the fiberglass cover that wraps the side, over time the paint will rub off of your bed , but at least inside the bed will be free of water when it rains. I personally got the roll up type like a garage door, (its a lower version of the jack rabbit brand). When its time to load something in the bed I have vertical clearance, but it doesnt catch all the run off water when it rains, even though it has catch rails & a drain, To me it looks way cooler when it retracts than your regular cover, I get alot of lookers at the gas station when im filling my cell. Well good luck with what you choose, hope it fits your needs.

I think he meant the carpet started to sag, not the cover...

No, I meant that actual cover. The top side center sagged.
