130w headlight bulbs

    Hey gang,
    I saw some 90/130w H4 headlight bulbs and it got me thinking . . .
    Can I just pop those babies in and be good to go? Or would I need to do some heavier wiring or something?

    I'm guessing you should be good. Even at 130 watts with a low voltage of 12, you are still only around 11 amps of current. #16 wire can handle that easily and I believe the wiring to the headlights is at least #14 which is typically good for 15 amps.
    You may run into a fuse size issue though....

    i was running 90/100w h4 in my taco...with no issues.

    I've read a couple different things. One guy said both hi and lo beams were white. Another guy said his hi beams were white but the lo beams were very yellow-ish. I'll let you know!
