not really wanting to go to msd.these trucks run good enough for a 16 year old anyways.haha.
i read somewere about blue 8mm wires??? cant remember what name brand they were or were i seen that.
we did go to the store to buy plugs.there was so many to choose from i thought i would just ask you guys.

so ngk is the way to go??? i know we could do more but tyler only has so much cash right now and he has spent alot on parts this week.:) so some good priced dependable stuff is what we are going for.
    thanx guys

Yes, the Factory service manual calls for NGK 'BPR5EY
    or ND 'W16EXR-U

Cant go wrong with either of the two, before i found out about the ngks i put in some autolites and it ran horribly,

For some reason i just caught up with this thread, but I wanted to offer you guys a welcome! Sweet trucks and also a great family project! This will be a great learning experience for the boys and possibly for you as well. Hell, if you can plate a frame for demolition derby you can add some fish plates to a frame z or a frame notch probably too.:waytogo: Mini trucks tend to take on somewhat of a snowball effect. Maybe one of those trucks will end up laid out on the pavement after all. It doesn't have to happen overnight. However you guys decide to proceed with the trucks, have fun with it and keep us posted with your progress!

well i have thought about it.i have a 2wd tracker for a daily driver.

its not as easy to lower but it will hold all four of us if we need it.

i also have a truck that i dont drive very much.its a 94 but it only has 70xxx miles on a diesel. it was a local fire dept truck,so its been well kept and garaged.i owe nothing on it and it just doesnt seem right to sell it.

ok... now my toy :D . last year i quit running derbies(after 17 years).it was getting harder and harder to tear up the old iron.i was getting tired of the drama and fighting.so i started wanting a ride to restore.i knew that when i found the right one,i would be done with derbies.so i found the car i wanted.its a 73 caprice.it only has 63xxx miles and was in great shape.but it wasnt in perfect shape.so i started to unbolt it this last spring.here are some pics.

so thats were she sits right now.it will be a long road but it will be nice when its done.so i wouldnt mind getting a yota but it would just give me something else to spend my $ on,and i really need to save for my clarice(her name).so i will help the boys with there toys(on there bill haha) and keep working on my toy ;)

you don't drive the dually much, it's in very clean condition. it's cheap(ish) on fuel. Bag it, phantom dually, and used veggie oil for fuel. I think that'd be a great mix of new tech, old skool style, and race inspired goodness. You could even put a nice patina on it, and paint a logo on the door, like...."Camel Towing, and Speed Shop parts and accesories" or something like that.
