Has anyone ever tried dyeing suede. I have some black rx-7 seats that aren't
as dark as i would like them to be. I want to re-dye them black. Ive been told
the suede would get hard, though i came across a web site that sells suede dye & the guy claimed it would work. Any help from experience would be great.

Did your friend use regular dye like (RID) or was the dye formulated for suede.

i used the duplicolor vinyl and fabric on my cloth bench.

It did feel kind of rough to touch it .
But i was told by a friend is:
to rub it in to the fabric, between coats while it is still wet, with a latex glove,
I never got around to doing it that way. But i dose make sense because the fabric is porous.
