That's really nice looking! Is that painted down below the lettering? Sweet valve cover! Makes me want to work on mine more.

I was just painting parts getting ready for the new engine and got a little carried away with the cover

I ground the bottom egde smooth and sanded it down

Painted high temp silver

Taped off the top and used caliper red

Taped off the center section and used a high temp gunmetal

Sanded the letters bare and then clear coated the whole thing

Then the custom cap....

 

Looks sick!!!! Makes me wanna go home and do something to mine! haha

Wheres cinnamon ... red and gold instead of the silvers....

 

Got the old school cap from "toy_boy" on here
Then I cut out the bottom of it
Trimmed my stock cap to fit inside and...
VIOLA
