Actually i want a truck so i can get the Quad in the back, i kinda sick of Haul it in Trailer! and if i get a car i had to put a hitch and i don't wanna go trough that anymore, not to mention the 55 miles speed limit for cars hauling in the freeway!

i used to have a 450R. drove the snot outta it until the valves sunk so far into the head that it went pop! lol. Those motors are great, cept they dont have a long life. I miss my quad, i shouldnt of sold it.

dillinja666, yeah this engines require Valve adjustment fairly often, i try to stay on top of it! but is a lot of fun riding them!

 

the valve adjustment is the problem with them. the valve seats are soft, so you keep having to adjust the valve cause the valves sink. eventually the seats get so beat that you lose compression and then pop... needs head work... sux

i had to adjust my valves twords the end after every weekend of riding. Granted i was going for 3-4 days a week riding about 6-8 hours every day of the trip. By my 07 trx 450r only lasted until the end of the season in 09 before the motor blew...

 

Yeah i don't ride that much top's twice a month, right now i have no car so no riding! mine's a 04 kickstart!
