I found this site today and wondered if anyone has used them: http://thesuspensionking.com/catalo...ucts_id=624&osCsid=brush3v3f8v5a6i12ekho5ckc3

I might need U-bolts for my truck when I try and remove the center leafs, and while I'd like to grab the U-bolts from someone on the board, these guys have 'em for $6 each. That's $24 + shipping... that's not bad, probably $30-35 total. I can deal with that.

Anyone on here have any experience with them? Bad / good? Opinions?

what you need to do is build a top plate that hugs the axle, but gives a flat bolting surface.... something like off a ford.... or anything that the u bolts point up. Then the U part of the bolt will need to be a square end not round to hug the spring itself.... and maybe a bottom plate made up.
