Cleaned the oil off real good! Lol

Buddy of mine works at a Toyota Dealer.

And the reason it made it better was because when i first put the 7M in it i bent the pitman and idler to clear the oil pan. Bad idea. It caused all kinds of bump steer and wander at higher speeds. this way with it notched its back to its factory steering angles.

    OH! okay!

Hmm, should've just cut and weld the oil pan itself :D

yeah theres a trick, quick hands lol. the smaller gt steering wheel helps a bunch. I had to remove mine when I installed the engine as it was hitting the oil pan. I just need to get under there and extend the bracket out to clear and ill be good.

i think we just need to find some rack and pinion system to retro fit in our trucks.

I totally agree with that. Other than throwing a couple grand in for a custom rack we really dont have an easy option for that Issue..

When I swapped out the stock spindles for a MK3 supra's I had the meanest bump, and lean steer... Luckily by just flipping the tie rod ends from the top of the steering arm to the bottom, and raking the caster back I was able to just about cure the problem.

If a rack were available setting up the proper geometry would have been a bit easier with what ever location would be best to mount the rack.
