any suggestions/help... totally new to this scene im from hawaii... and id just like to say wassup to all my fellow toy maniacs out there from hawaii... thanks.
Sick truck man. I so want one. Heres what you do. 5" block in the rear. Cut springs in the front. Or if you like find coils from another truck that fits. Probably need smaller tires though. Like sell the truck? LMK
oahu grown: nodeals haha. this truck is my gramps old one and i wanna keep um in the family. but thanks. 400: thanks man. i was lookin at his truck its pretty mean. haha
Nah yeah just ****ing around. If i had one like that would be mean, i would never sell it. And what i listed, thats pretty much how standardbykers did his, except for the front, he just cut. I been researching for when i get mines, cause guarentee going have one static drop like that.
haha oh fo reals i only seen one other truck like mine on oahu...haha was all bus...idk cuz my friend told me find drop spindles or something but idk if i cant find one for this old truck haha. i might just have to end up cuttin um... haha
Take 2 full turns off. 4" Block. Then continue from there as you want to get lower. Smaller front tires and hammering the inner fenders will be needed. And find some very high offset wheels. These trucks need even more than the later yotas do. As for drop spindles, 85-95 ones could be adapted over. Not too complex, but not a straight bolt on deal. Few changes to make.
since im on a budget right now will it make anydifference if i get like low pro tires? im thinkin if i do that then it'll still have a gap between the tire and the wheel well right? haha
i want my truck to be like a inch higher than yours haha. that height would be perfect. how would i get it to that hieght?
coil over's http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CMB-15-0058/ This is wat we use out here for sum of are ryde's.with this your able to change the height of the truck when ever you like,if you like low at tyme's. well if you feel lyke spending alil bit more money then try this out.but if your on a budget then try what them other guy's say to try,try out wat werks out for you partner.and keep us posted.
