Yup, the whole right hand side is lower than the left. Full inch low front and back. The wheel also needs to be held cranked left otherwise (and this is if I let go) It will immediately swerve HARD right. The top of both front tires are also toed in, and it wore the inside shoulder of the left tire down to bald when I limped it home. Suffice to say it is NOT being driven... But we can't find any broken and or bent tie rods, a arms, or... well... anything. Though there are signs of the SEVERE downward impact that it took. Will post as detailed and well lit pictures of the front end as I can if anyone thinks it will help...

the frame might be bent then. if thats the case you can try to have it put back in spec, but that can cost some serious money...sorry to be the bad news guy..

The torsion bars have been suggested to me as a possible reason for it sitting low, also the shocks being worn as all HELL and possible ruptured. I'll have someone that knows wtf they're doing check it over, because I certainly don't know what to look for.

Too bad my 89 parts truck was wrecked before I acquired it and possibly has a bent chassis as well, short bed....

Although I'm going to look into having AME in Fife Wa build me a frame to accommodate a short bed, with a tri4 Bar rear end, and an IFS front end with power rack and pinion steering. That would about take care of my handling and control mods that I'd want before dropping the 1JZ-GTE swap in.

I'll re post in this thread when I find out what my problem is. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's not the chassis, but I know it's a long shot. I guess the frame being shot is better than ending up all over the front of a kenworth...

Be a pain in the ass if it is the frame. Only other vehicle I have is a 93 civic with a timing problem, and no money to buy another yota for a while.

I got a guy thats going to take a look at the truck soon. But I don't see how a bent chassis would make the right side EXACTLY an inch low front and back. So once I have the money, if he doesn't tell me differently I'm going to start by replacing the front struts and go from there, they're toast anyway, have been for a couple years

Found my problem while replacing the old shocks with a pair of KYB's. The passenger side lower arm is buckled downward around the shock mount, and up to and maybe past the bump stop. Going to pull the arm off my parts rig tomorrow :) Hopefully this is my only major problem. Then all I'll need to worry about is two new tires.
