I bought from I guy who called it Black Powder for $500. 180k on it and runs like a champ. It only cost me about $700 to get to this point. Thanks for all the help so far. Making a shock hoop and partial front cage to support the coil overs I'm making for it so I can eliminate the torsion bars in the front. Also so working on a 5 link set up for the rear for coil overs as well. Air bags are cool but not for me. I would like to run spine torsion sway bars front and rear. I want it to corner like "who done it". I going to keep the body dirty for now.

Lol, it already has 4WD fenders and all! I say it looks good.

It's neat you're going along with a static setup. nothing wrong with that. pretty much where I'm at and cornering is too fun

Right on! $500 is a good deal! It's ok to lower a 2wd. Don't listen to 'em. :D It was pretty alright lifted though IMO.

Went to Pick-a-part the other week and found a 4 runner that just came in. I got the bumper, lights, and corners for 75 bucks. It was pretty easy to put on......

I got a bit more work done. I notched the back and flipped the rear main spring and put the spring pack back together with a 4" block. More to come....

Thats a sweet project. If you wanna keep rolling steelies ford crown vics look about the right offset to stick out further. But not too wide to cause steering issues. :D
