i know u all bash the 3vze but i was wonderin what yall thnk if me gettin one from a guy who used to be on this site pgarci06 i met him through a cuz and found he had a truck for sale the 3.slow 4 like 250ish? and flippin that to make profit i guess he had over heated it and maybe cracked the head? so wats your input peeps?
Yeah, there isn't a thing wrong with the engine that hasn't occurred in any other series engine. I had 180,000 on mine when I sold it. Except for the valve job around 145k never spent any money on it. Oddly enough, no head gasket issue, just a bent valve.

well i thnk ima purchase it for now? n hope fully nothing wrong(besides the head mabe its just the gasket) with it n flip it to make money for my 93 22re and restore that? thnks for the in put guys.
I'm glad some of you are getting good results with your motors, and I have nothing personal against the 3vze. In this particular situation, though, the motor in question sounds like crap. The vague hope of making a profit off this motor just doesn't seem realistic. Whoever is selling you their trash for $250 is doing a good job, though.
