I am in the process of buying this 1986 turbo sr5 it has 71,000 original miles in very good shape for it's age.I'll keep you posted
The guy is wanting $4000 bucks, seems kind of high to me it's been sitting for a while needs full exhaust
im thinking with these trucks being rare...especially in MINT condition that 4000 would seem fair but by looking at the pics the paint is faded. What's the rest of the truck look like. I would agree that 3000 would be a good price to start at. Personally I wouldnt sell mine for less than 6500 and mine has been restored from the ground up
Nice find, these are rare trucks for a DD 3500. would be a good price. But if your going to beutfie her up paint, exaust, wheels, turbo upgrade, need to stay low 2500. to 3000. Is he getting a lot of interest for the truck?
The truck is in great shape but its been sitting at a body shop for a while the guy that has it bought it at auction for his grandson, soon after it started running hot so they had the head reworked and a head gasket after that it still ran hot thats when they realized the water pump was bad, by this time the Grandson had bought another truck. The Grandfather knows what he has or has alot in it cuz I offered 2500 and he wasn't happy.I haven't bought it yet but I think it's a one time opertunity to get one in this condition.I had a brown 2wd 5speed turbo but it had 200k on it and was kinda rough there are pics of it in the Gallery.I have a red S Runner tacoma and this would look good parked next to it !! Don't buy it on emotion. If you have the money make a higher offer. Or else you need to wait him out and continue to visit and show you dedicated to buying at your offered price. GL
