okay, so i me and my friends installed new white face gauges on my '91 pickup, and they turned out fine, jst one problem, once i start driving my speedometer takes a while too catch on, like its slow too start and once it does start doesnt go back too zero when im at a complete stop, im thinking the problem is when we put the gauges and dash back in we didnt push it in all the way, but i dont know, any suggestions?

ok, first of all, where the heck you got your white gauge because i had no luck in finding one

Ya, take it off and redo it, unless you guys messed up the needle cable when you guys were pushing, mine also bounches up to 40 and then its all good, might redo it aswell. good luck

no you dont have to take off the clear window....it comes off the gauge cluster by some snap type locks

did you put the needle back where it was originally?

check to see if it is causing the needle to drag slightly. with the extra thickness of those, it could be the problem. or maybe there is a spring inside that got messed up.
