Well engine is ready to be dropped in. I have the 22re sold, just need to pull it. Still waiting on my control arms to come in and my grandfather passed. So I'll be out of town this week, heading to New York for the services. I'll be back next Sunday and there will be many updates following. All my parts should be in by then. -Ryan
Alright, I'm back. Still waiting on control arms, engine has come a long ways fast. I've got some Sanderson block hugger headers from my dad but I need to have them warranteed b/c they have a small crack. Sanderson is super awesome and they are going to exchange for free, btw they are 6 years old and jet hot coated. I'll get some pics later. -Ryan
Well I've been busy. Finished the front suspension. Next up will be Z frame then engine swap. Right now it is sitting on the transmember and the exhaust. The exhaust is still stock from the manifold to back of cab. Also grabbed a pic of the flushies, so now I can shave the tails. -Ryan
Well got some updates. Engine is out so I can start the Z. I'm going to get her cleaned up real good first then back to cutting. The thing under the blue tarp is the engine going in. Looking forward to getting this thing running again. -Ryan
Progress Got some progress. Cut the frame, welded it back. Need to go pick up some steel to box it in and then cut some fish plates and we're good. Snuck in a pick of the engine for whoever asked. I've got a new short water pump for it which is over an inch shorter and flywheel and pressure plate are here. Waiting on the clutch disc and the engine is going in. Also need to figure out how I want to mount the alternator and a/c. -Ryan
Well change on plans. Engine is going to wait, I was getting ahead of myself. I stripped the cab Sunday night and cut it last night. Its now body dropped and the rockers are layed hard. 2.25" bodydrop. Going to start stitching it back together after work today. I'll get some pics. -Ryan
hahaha "woops, i'm body dropped" awesome. can't wait to see it all together, hope you have better luck than I.
Progress, Progress, Progress. Cab was cut Monday. Welded back of cab and firewall Tuesday along with fitting A/C back in. Wednesday welded up sides. All that is left is to tub the firewall for the tires and finish around the body mounts. The trans tunnel is tacked but not finished also. When the body mount areas are done I'll take it off the 4x4's and put back on regular jackstands. Then fit the V-8 and then finish the firewall. Also my clutch disc came in so I'm anxious to get this bad boy back together!! WooHoo
