Well i wanted to relocate my gas tank to the rear and after looking under my truck, it seems i gotta leaking gas tank! so ill be doing this relocation sooner that i thought. My question is, Do you know of a factory type tank that would accept our stock fuel pump etc and is more slim that i could recess underneath the rear part of my bed without it hanging down too much? Fuel cell possibly? just dont know how the stock 22re would do with an aftermarket external pump and all that feeding it fuel from a fuel cell...?
    ideas plz

Go to the pirate4x4.com forums and find the marlincrawler Formula Toy build. They are using an external inline fuel pump, from a celica I believe. A chevy blazer 20 gal. tank fits between the frame rails just behind the axle. I'll find out what years.

I found a pretty sweet tank im wondering about. its a factory 64-68 mustang tank. just curious how i could plumb a return line, thinking to the filler neck and as for the sending unit..not sure. dont know how to post a pic but if ur curious, check it out. maybe a fuel cell would be cheaper in the end though..

If you want to post pics, set up an account with flickr or photobucket or something. Then you can link to those.
