what year model lowering kit

    what year model lowering kit should i get for a 83 i cant seem to find a lowering kt for a 83

    Drop spindles from a 1984-1995 yota will work with mods to the ball joints. Another option is that the 84-95 front suspension will bolt right up from what I've heard. But it pushes the wheels out .5" out each side which isn't goood if you want to tuck tire. For the rear, buy the belltech drop springs and some blocks.

    ok thnaks that helps me out alot i didnt know if 84 lowering kit would work or not i was hoping it would i got prices at oreillys and it was 45.00 for rear lowering kit from belltech and almost 300.00 for the front which is werid im was kind jsut thinking about buying some lowering balljoints an d maybe some drop spindles if the lowing balljoints dont bring me to where i want to be

    another trick on the front is to flip the ball joints by moving the spindle from the bottom of the control arm to the top. I think you can get close to an inch of drop. here is a drawing that is rough but you can get a general idea.
