Hey y'all. looks the the right rear turn signal on my hilux chinook is not working. Drivers side turn signals and hazards work great and blink. On the passenger side the front one just stays on (does not click) and the rear one does nothing.

I swapped in another bulb to confirm that the bulb is ok.

I also assume if the relay is bad neither side would work? is this incorrect

Any tips on what to check beyond shorts are much appreciated.

Cleaning the electrical contacts sometimes does it due to oxidation/corrosion on them from age

The switches and contacts are bare metal/brass. Make sure the lights have a good ground(they ground thru the mounting screws) add a ground wire if needed

    Sounds like a ground issue.

well, turns out Chinook extended all the rear lighting wire to account for the extra foot or so they welded onto the hilux frame. The wires looked intact but are all super brittle, they must have used some cheap wiring because all the original toyota wires are still intact. They also extended them with different colors of course. I replaced that stretch of wires and am good to go. Thanks for the help y'all!
