Picked this thing up last year to replace my daily driver. It’s a 92 Pickup Base 2wd 5 speed in Forest Green. The 22re sits at 208k right now. Here are some pictures from the day I got it

I’ve been going through getting it dialed in as my daily. Since I got it, I’ve done a bit of maintenance, some new wheels/tires and a slight drop. Some random pics from the process

Ain't too bad considering they are usually off by 4mph stock anyways, at least in my experience.

On another note, anyone know who makes replacement mirrors like mine? Are those base mirrors? I don’t see many Pickups with these style ‘tow’ mirrors

they most definitely look oem. I was hoping for a cheap aftermarket replacement as people selling used ones want way too much for them lol

Sick come up! I like the wheels, with decent tires too! I bet it felt like night and day difference in handling!

yup much more feedback and responsiveness. Ideally I’d prefer some more meat on the tire but this was the only 15” size for this tire. I also run these tires on my other car and liked the performance and cost!

Yea a 225/50 tire seams to be almost perfect on those wheels. But it's like you said, availability matters..

I changed the tire size on my 92' Toyota Pickup, went one step further, and had a GPS speedometer installed at Tacoma Speedometer. The folks there did an awesome job and now the speedometer is correct (except going through a long tunnel shielded from the satellite systems). Love your rig!

Finally got around to replacing the original injectors and fuel filter. The o-rings on the injectors were rock solid lol. What a difference they made! The motor is smoother and has more power. Fuel economy nearly doubled too!

Yea the injectors are something most ppl just look past.. they see spray and think it's good enough.. flow benched injectors make night and day difference.
