So I'll throw this up here once again. I have the W55 manual 5 speed out of my 88 Extra Cab, this tans was rebuilt by a trans shop, $685, new bearings, synchros & seals, as I pulled it out because of a noise. Ran it for around 5,000 miles or so , than changed to a W58 as still had a noise. Noise found to be pinion angel to great,problem is now fixed. Want this trans off my work bench, been sitting there way to long, $200 takes it. I'm in the Bay Area.
