I found a good web site for replacement LED bulbs and started to purchase (see below) but am hesitant in regard to the replacement LED flasher (three prongs) because I can't find where this is on my 92 Pickup. Has anyone done this already that can advise? I don't want to spend the money only to learn the 3 prong relay will not plug-n-play as a replacement.

    THANKS!

Every bulb on my 88 are LED, including the head lights. The tail lights & turn lights are LED rigs, not bulbs.
I got a non-mechanical flasher & on the 84-88 that is located behind the drivers side kick panel .

    Thanks.
I had located the flasher relay behind my kick panel, but the prongs don't line up to the flasher relay the Superbright LED web site recommends so this is why I was wondering if there is another relay I'm missing.

There is supposed to be one located behind the steering column that is really hard to get to, but I can't determine if the three prong from Superbright will plug into it without the hassle of accessing it too see.

Any chance you can provide more detail about the relay you have (i.e., what I should look for to find the same one)?

Thanks for the info/link. Where does this thing plug into? When I open the fuse cover on my driver side kick panel the only place a relay can plug isn't the 3 prong config. Is there a relay I need to access by pulling the entire kick panel off?

It's a pain but if you can somehow manage to lay face up in the footwell, it'll be a black box and white adapter kinda clipped to the left (driver) side slightly above the steering column. It slides off forward the back of the truck I think. Leave the blinker or hazards on and it'll make finding it quick work.

LOL, I've already done the contortionist act to try and see what's under my dash, so I'll try that. I expect the intent Of Toyota for those accessing this relay was to pull the speedo/instrument panel off, but at least I now know where to look. Many thanks!

The flasher relay on our generation is up by the column on a bracket. A 2 prong flasher works perfectly. If it doesn't work one way put it in the other and it's golden. I use EL12 modules from Napa.
