help with brakes on a 77 hilux,

    I cant get brake fluid through the proportioning valve on a 77 hilux,the rear brakes arent working, any help would be appreciated

    Had a similar issue with mine, ended up being the wheel cylinders were seized

    Maybe you've got a crystallized chunk of old brake fluid in there? Had that happen on a motorcycle of mine once, crystallized brake fluid jammed the cylinder. Crack open the system upstream of the valve and see if you can get flow there.
