I've got the bug to swap my base gauge cluster for an SR5 cluster with tach. Took a quick look at ebay but only found a couple for sale for >$250 (that were tested by seller and had a 14 day return okay)!

Does anyone know what these cost typically at auto junk yards?

For that much money, I think I would rather just get an aftermarket tach...

That's what I did. Bought a Sunpro AutoZone tach. 2" or 2 1/2". Think I paid like 40 bucks maybe? Mounted it to my pillar works perfectly. It's been there for 8 years now. :waytogo:

    hmmmm...

$60... I'll have to check out some junk yards and see if I can find one. Unfortunately, there aren't any around where I live.

Mebbe I'll just go with an aftermarket tach.

    Thanks!

Adding or rewiring isn't that hard, just do it right! You just have to decide what end result you want!
