So I was going to do my carpet but I pulled up the old vinyl to find a real mess. My floor boards are starting to rot through so I'm going to have to cut and weld in patch panels. I know they don't sell floor pans for our trucks so I'm going to have to fab my own.

I was going to pick up some 16 gauge sheet metal and probably forgo running beads unless I can find someone to do it for me. I've also got a buddy with a welder who should be able to help me in that regard.
I guess my question is anyone have a link to a good tutorial or any advise? I've never done any body work before and I'm a little nervous to start cutting.

Um that’s for a RN30 pickup, not the RN20 hilux. I’m sure they’re similar enough though that you could still use most of it and splice in the sections you need

No. But I love the full steel bed with the headache rack. Probably cost $$$$$ to get it shipped to the U.S.

PhotoPictureResizer_190515_180619422_crop_4032x2923.jpg Floor pans came in. They look like a perfect fit for my RN20. When I've got some time to take the truck down I'll gut it, cut out the old pans and install these.

I went with the vendor Liquidhandwash found on ebay who is in Australia. I ended up paying $260 USD for both panels shipped and they arrived in about a week.

@Ivey were you able to get the floor panels installed? I ordered a set for my '82 Pickup and hope they'll work.

I haven't had a chance to tackle the floor pans. The welding bit has me on hold. They look like they lineup just fine though so I dont anticipate any issues. Let me know how it goes for you. Are you going to weld them yourself?

Finally had these installed in my 82 pickup. The installer only used about a square foot section of the pans near the cab mount. Overall, they seem to be good but the real work was in the underside cab mount and where the floor meets the front inner fender curve.
