Hello. I am looking at some 17x8 with a +35 offset and wondering if it will clear upper ball joint on the back and tuck the fender and bedside on the front. Anyone run this size on a 1973-1977?

Im running 17x7 0 offset(i think) and the wheels tuck. The set up youre taking about should tuck but you may rub the inner fenders up front

I dunno what offset mine are, but currently have 17x8 mustang wheels and tires on my 75 and they clear everything at stock height.

A good tool to use is something like "https://www.willtheyfit.com/". It'll give you a good idea of what the new setup will look like and you can sometimes rule it out just by the measurements.

Here's what the wheel you're talking about with a 215/40/R17 would look like compared to the oem wheel and a 195/70/R14 tire:

Thats actually a great tool, ive used it many times. Just remember the suspension components there are solely for reference, not a representation of your vehicle

I found this in my gallery, I believe it's my front passenger side, with those Mustang wheels I mentioned. Might give you a better idea of clearance for the wheels you're considering

Yeah I was just saying it's a useful tool to get a general idea of the fitment. It's definitely not for verifying EXACT fitment of a wheel on your car. I should've been more clear.
