Looking to get a little more light. At the moment I'm running the stock 7in sealed beams headlights. I'm not sure if I would look into a fog light option for additional light or if there is a good alternative housing I could buy to get more light.

Has anyone upgraded to the Hella housing, and H4 bulbs?

I have ran Hella lens forever ,first used high end bulbs, than changed to HID bulbs with ballast, way brighter, & just in the last few months I changed to LED bulbs from the same supplier.
Like them a lot, less heat from the bulb= longer life & 5,000 lumens. I always get 6,000 Kelvin which is very close to sun light, very bright white.
The Hella lens focus the light beam better than most lens & are glass so will ever fog over. You can find them on amazon .

Ive heard alot of good about the Hella housings. Just dont put HIDs in them(housing scatters the light). LED bulbs maybe.

The 7" LED headlights are looking pretty cool too. Not sure of the light output tho

Any links to these upgrades? They aren’t so easy to find in the UK.

I would love to run HIDs on this truck, but I need to keep the cost down since I'm replacing a ton of other things. Anything over stock right now would be great.

The LEDs are cool but I'm not sure how much better this would be over stock. Another option I was considering was finding some LED fogs that I could mount behind the grill.

Their kit was around $65 with a life time warranty.
I bought 2 kits so could just change out & send in .

As for the hella housings, what size fit our trucks? I see they offer three different sizes for the round housings. 135mm, 165mm and 173mm.

I tried many things to get my hi beam indicator light to work.I found adding an under hood light connected to the low beam light fixed it, it made no sense but it worked.
