Found these for sale locally. They're the bottom ones in the pic, not the top one. I'm interested, but wondering if they'll actually fit especially once I'm lowered. Specs are 15x7 and he says 3.25" backspacing, so -19 et. They'll stick out 31mm more if the stock wheels really are 0 et. They look brand new so that's curious. Couldn't find pics on here of anyone with turbines like these to compare. Any ideas?
Well they look good but the studs are too short.. quite a bit of poke too. Maybe too much once I'm lowered on the belltechs. Anyone ever swapped studs on these?
Picked up some Jeep turbines today for $50. They're spray painted black and but in decent shape overall. I plan on removing the paint so they're the polished aluminum again. They even came with all four center caps. I'm gonna remove the Jeep logo. It would be cool if I could find some Toyota logos to place there
For the first set you posted you may need to use some of the shank style lug nuts. I feel like those look better
Honestly I liked them too, but they stuck out too far for what I thought would look good on this truck. And they didn't have any markings on them whatsoever so I was apprehensive about the quality of the wheel. I think the Jeep wheels will look better once I refinish them

Well, I think I finally settled on a wheel selection.. somewhat because if I tell the wife I'm going to "try out" another set, I'm pretty sure she'll make me sleep in the truck lol. They're no-name aluminum (painted, not brushed) 15x7, -8et. Wasn't until I got them home that I realized they're mag style lugs, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to make sure the wheel is centered. May need a hub centric ring. I will definitely need shank style lugs anyway because the part that mounts to the hub is thicker than the steel wheels and basically looks like the first set I tried on in this thread. This whole time I was under the impression my stock wheels were 14x6, when it turns out they're 14x5. No wonder the 15x7 was such a big jump in size. I think they'll look good mounted up. Gonna go with 195/50-15 tires.
Those look nice. Can't say I've seen those on anything before. Weird how there's so little meat where the lugs are placed - probably why they're thicker like you mentioned.
There's a decent amount of meat where they mount, it's just that it's painted black so it's hard to see in those pics
Yup, those are better. Don't get me wrong, I like the 40 spokes, but visually (probably due to the black paint), these are a hit. Saw a lot of these in the 80's on vans n shit like that
Thanks tuhd! Yeah I'm really happy with how they look. I've always wanted one of those short nose 80s vans haha Jetas I was honestly thinking about having them sand blasted. The clear coat is peeling in some places anyway and I love the look of brushed aluminum. Painting inside those spokes would be a pain in the ass tho haha
I might haha. Sent out for some quotes yesterday. I'm in the process of sourcing a set of lugs to make sure I can at least mount the wheels securely before I do anything else
I should probably start a build thread, but here is the easiest place to update the wheel progress. MAybe when I make some real progress on the engine swap. Got my lugs yesterday and test fit them and they fit and look great. I'm really happy with them and can't wait to get the truck running so I can mount the wheels. I'm still on the fence about refinishing the wheels or leaving them as is. Budget may be the deciding factor. We'll see..
Can always get a can of paint stripper and do it yourself. I reccomend doing a test on a patch of the back of the wheel somewhere in case theres a wierd reaction.
Last year I inquired with a local company that does cleanup on alloy wheels - they said minimum $300/wheel to polish just the face
