I've been on this site for a while but haven't posted my truck here. I got it in 2013 and been fixing it up since then. I had the engine rebuilt at yota1 in Modesto. I got the stage 1 upgrade and a few other things. Still collecting parts before I get it painted

 

My truck is a 86 toyota extra cab sr5 turbo that im keeping for my grandson after im gone so i'm restoring it. So far i had the motor rebuilt with the stage 1 upgrade at yota1 in modesto. I changed the turbo to a tec turbo, clutch,clutch master & slave cylinders, lc engineering short shift, flowmaster super 44 but have a super 10 i'm going to put in, monza tip, snugtop shell. The stuff i've collected are 6 extra gauges for temps and boost, led & also a autopal dot housings in case the led's are too bright, new window seals, cross drilled rotors ceramic pads, drums and brake shoes, SS braided brake lines, some interior stuff, 4sets of rims, rear air shocks, chrome Black Magic hydraulics chrome 4 pump setup, mostly all parts are replaced with oem or better parts that i can find. I've always wanted one since i saw one in 86 that my uncles friend had. I always wanted a black 2wd turbo 5spd fully loaded with sunroof which i finally got in 2013. My main goal is to restore it with custom stuff along the way.

 

looking good! how did Yota1 in Modesto treat you?full rebuild and how is it running?

 

they were pretty good and havent had any problems so far. pulls hard too. theit site is yota1.com and also on face book.

 

rite on, so they rebuilt your motor or you bought one of theirs and they swapped it in? what does the "stage 1" give you?

 

I had them rebuild mine.. on their page it has the specs.... rods, pistons arp studs are extra. www.yota1.com

 

They upgrade to dual row chain, cam and some other stuff.... I got my tank rodded, and injectors rebuilt

Thanks.. my brake parts fell through so I ended up just getting slotted rotors and pads and will deal with the rear later.. it's been a journey so far but I'm enjoying the ride... I got some parts I'm designing for my truck so I'll have pics when I get them done... these are the rotors I got

 

Been a while since ive updated. I've upgraded my exterior bulbs to led, put on some chrome 16x7 momostars with 205-40-16, had my hydraulics installed. Heres some pics below and you can also find me on IG @andyturbosr5
