Its going to be trial and error. Ive never really cared for the exhaust note of the 2xR motors.

I'd like to hear that Borla - any sound clips?

I too haven't found any great exhausts for the 2Xr series yet, but I'd love to know so I can fix my 20r's sound. The Magnaflow on my 22re doesn't sound bad, pretty quiet actually - dunno the exact model but it's approx 6-7" diameter, maybe 20" long with a straight through design. I detest the flowmaster in my 20r truck, it sounds ricey and drones.

I've been wondering how something like a Thrush Hush sounds on our motors. YouTube sucks for 2Xr exhaust videos.

Whatever you do dont get a flowmaster.
Magnaflow, cherry bomb turbo muffler or a glasspack. Something with some kind of packing material inside

I have a cherry bomb turbo muffler im going to put on mine when its ready to drive.

Totally agree with Jetas. I will never own another flowmaster product again. I have had 3 on different cars and my truck and all have had a baffle come loose and then sound like a swarm of pissed off metal robot bees chasing me down the road.

Another vote for magnaflow if you want an exhaust that is not annoyingly loud.
