Hi All, Fairly new to the forum, but I always wanted to tinker with my truck. I have a hand-me-down '91 XCab which was bought brand new by my dad back in the day. Currently 200k+ miles and still runs like a champ with little maintenance. It has been neglected for some time, but I plan to address the whole car as I want to do a mild resto-mod with a build thread... I've already learned tons by just searching and lurking. Looking forward to finding more useful info on here. Anyways, here's my starting canvas. TIA!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Yep, I'm leaning towards the full Belltech lowering kit w/ Shocks, 2" spindles, 3" blocks to close the wheel gap, nothing crazy. As for final goals, I want to find a happy medium between function + form. I like the clean look, Sorta like this guy...
If you do the build start a thread! I was looking at doing the same but have no money to spend on luxuries at the moment.. Would be cool to see your process.
I started a build thread not too long ago, but my progress will be slow... Also, not planning on doing anything extreme with the build. http://toyotaminis.com/forum/threads/91-xcab-resto-mod.22691/
