Similar scenario for me in my old 82 model, the 22r still runs good as!

Whats wrong with the 3rz you have? Or have you on sold it? Have you priced up what the conversion would cost?

Yeah you are right, plus they are hard to come by. I'm on the hunt for one too. I'm still undecided to do the conversion, mainly because I could spend the money else where on my truck. But EFI and good power goodness from the 3rz is still swinging that way for me.

Throw up a build thread on the oldschool forum, the guys there would love to see the work you have put into this truck.

    Cheers

I took on a new job in a new town and had to get it going quick so I sold the 3RZ and bought another truck for the engine and box all I had to do was the wiring, exhaust, shorten rear drive shaft and lengthen the front one, as projects go we didn't have the money to finish it at the time and the work shop I had rented was all so sold and had to move it out there as well.
having the engine, gearbox and new engine mounts made to shift the engine back to clear the radiator it was about another 2k to finish then the cert plate on top of that

Oh yeah, that's fair enough. If I knew you were selling the motor I would have been interested.
