I guess im calling out all the Canadian Toyota guys
have you guys managed to bypass the drl circuit? If so, how?
On my 92, all my lights except my cluster turn on as soon as i drop the e-brake and wont turn back off until i shut the truck down. I thought it was an aftermarket thing at first but i know the history of the truck since new
I figured it was a simple fuse pull or a relay, but its not. After finding the factory service manual online, it is a factory integrated piece. I did manage to bypass the drl to what i think was the safest and less intrusive way to my knowledge.
I am an automotive electronics technician by trade so it wasn't a hack job.
if nobody has found a way i guess i can post the way i did it if anyone want to do it
    thanks

Find whatever switch is in the ebrake and unplug it or bypass from there.

So when you take off the e-brake the headlights, corner lights and night time brake lights come on and the dash cluster lights do not?Sorry just trying to understand.

yes. the trucks corner lights, tail lights and head lights (@70 percent power) turn on when i put down the e-brake. cluster does not come on until i turn the switch. i managed to trick the module that the e brake was always pulled up but doesnt effect anything else, basically like it never came with it, but i wanted to know how other people did it

nope! the e brake wire from the switch goes into the box and then comes back out of it an goes to the light. which is now been bypassed completely, which is half the process to bypass the drl
