    Hey guys. Have any of you had a problem with your guys ecu. Igot a 1994 toyota pickup 22re it's stalls out sometimes check engine shows open and closed circuit to maf from ecu. I'm thinking it's the ecu itself iwant to if any of u experienced the same problem

    its suuuper rare the ecu has any problems. its about as basic and reliable as a brick. i would be more willing to bet the afm has likely either a dead spot in the meter or maybe something has come loose in the box. have you opened it up to check inside the meter yet?

    how did the connector look on it..? is it secured in place well with the retaining clip?

    It looks good even had it checked out but still can't found the problem I check getting told it's the ecu

    They rarely fail!
    Find some with the same year & change out to see if the problem goes away & call LC Engineering & talk to a tech. They are very very knowledgeable & may have some answers for you!! :cool:

    If you need an ECU, I have one that I don't use anymore.

    Not sure what they're worth...

    Yah I'm trying to find the problem was its a federal truck so it's harder to find one locally

    i had one of the transistors blow out on me. it was a OEM reman'd ecu. figured it out after $450 worth of parts from jegs. it was the injector pulse control. found me an original one and been good ever since.

    Did ur throw codes mines throwing 24 and 31 afm that I replaced but still does it says open and close circuit

    I dropped it off at shop let's see what was the problem lol
