Looks nice HOSH, you might have an issue with the reducer/connector that spirals around the t-bar to hook to the cat, I bent mine a little in a vise, flattened the inside radius a bit for clearance and added some springs because it rattled during cold start.

I am running a pacesetter long tube through an 18" glasspack, no cat and 2" pipe dumping out at the front leaf hanger. It sounds like an old tractor at idle, a Cessna(sp?) at cruise and a vintage rallycar WOT. super loud and raspy, also pops and cackles during deceleration. Love it

It's noticeably faster on acceleration. I am really waiting on the D.U.I ignition to come in, so I can really awaken all of the engine mods I have made i.e.
    -Smog Delete
    -Weber 38/38
    -Offenhauser Intake
    -Pacesetter header
    -Full exhaust

Then I can do a custom timing curve and see what this truck is really made of.

Even with the 1-ton torsion bars it fit well. The header collector was more the hard part to fit. I think it was because my torsion bars are alot thicker than stock. I do really like the design of the downpipe how they wrapped it over the bars and not under.

Good to hear it actually made a difference!

Not to thread hijack but I'm gonna put mine on when I swap in my 22r, running a ported intake with a weber 32/36, fully ported head with bigger valves and rv3 cam with stiffer springs, and will also be doing a DUI distributor.. Not gonna have a built motor with a basic points system.. Let me know when you get your distributor in and how you hooked it up! :waytogo:

I can imagine mine has very little clearance to the t-bar. Is that one of those dual port Offy intakes?

I'll be sure to do a write up :waytogo:

Yeah, it is mainly to see the gains out of a progressive carb which I don't have, but it flows better than stock so I'm happy.

How long did it take for your distributor to arrive from when you ordered it?

How much was that? I am in the market for either a DUI (worked awesome on my 74 Jeep Commando) or an LC recurved Toyota dizzy

I got it in about a week and a half. Not bad for a made to order part.

Right around $450. Not bad for a custom curved dizzy, thick livewires, and an integrated ignition and coil.

I went with it because of ease of installation vs a MSD system. plug it in at 0* tdc. Plug in 12v lead wire and tach lead wire. Start, adjust timing and run it.

I am at 15* right now and it is running fantastic on 89 octane.

Hopefully broke 100hp. Feels like it.

I set it in at 8*btdc like stock with the ignition dizzy in the same spot where the stock one was for an easy fire up. Then adjusted with a timing light to around 15-20* in total timing.

    Hope this answers it.

Thanks man! I love it. The ignition system is awesome and it makes these motors purrr.

I still have some maintenance things to do. It pulls right needs and idler arm. My motor cries oil at night. Custom work.... I have an exhaust to do as well! Which will be awesome and something totally unique :) . After that I think I might finally address the rust or just run it.

the leaks are a very trivial issue with the motor... wouldnt take much more than a day to take care of. the engine bay would gain allot by getting buttoned up and detailed out to show off the new goodies...
