Just wondering what shocks you guys run? Almost finished with the back half of the truck but would like to shocks.
I run the Doetsch Tech shocks front and rear. Rides and handles great. Even my coilover buddies are impressed.
i run a set of pro shocks front Pro Shocks SM300 Pro Street Rod Shock, 9 Inch Ride Height - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop rear Pro Shocks SM600 Pro Street Rod Shock, 13-1/2 Inch Ride Height - Speedway Motors, America's Oldest Speed Shop they ride great and are pretty compact. sucks to see they went from $47 a piece to $75 lol. i've also installed cheap ($20 a piece)stock shocks on bagged trucks and they rode great too. any shock on a bagged truck will be better then nothing.
Well, that's a loaded question. The further you get off vertical, the lower the effective valving. So no, it doesn't matter what angle they are as long as they are designed for it, but performance can suffer.
