Does anyone know if they make adapters specific to our trucks to install a billet steering wheel. I called Summit, and the salesman said even though the steering wheels were Universal, he didn't have a listing for an adaptor. It would only work on domestics. Thanks
What type of pattern does the billet wheel you like have? I know they make 3 bolt adapters, and I think 5 and 7 were available for a while. Might need a step adapter from 3 bolt to what you want. Ill have to do that to run my 6 and 9 bolt wheels on 3 bolt adapters.
grant steering wheels http://www.grantproducts.com/ or try forever sharp wheels... https://fssteeringwheels.com/
Its a 9 hole steering wheel (Summit's version of the Colorado customs fire wheel), if u have an adapter to an adapter will it look not so clean. Also thanks Scr8pn.
im pretty sure it mounts right up to the truck and then to the 9 hole wheel...not 2 adapters. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/lac-b-29603
I like that interior layout. The window cranks and dash vent gauges are sweet. As for wrapping the wheel, a good shop should hook you up. Being a wheel is small, you could ship it out if there isn't a good local place.
I bought the Lecara one as recommended, with a Summit racing flame steering wheel, Installed it the other day. Pic will be added when I take it. It looks sweet but the only issue I have is the mounting bolts that came with the wheel are to skinny to mount to the hub, & the bolts with the hub are to short. So the bolts I bought to mount it are now to big on the head, and stick out that I cant mount the horn button. I was thinking of counter sinking them, but I don't want to screw up the wheel. Hopefully the pics can show what Im talking about.
I bought a Forever Sharp Billet wheel from a buddy of mine and when I received it it was missing the column cover and splined adapter. I called Forever Sharp and they were extremely helpful. I got both pieces shipped to me for under $25 bucks.
