Ok so I changed my flywheel clutch and pressure plate and now I'm trying to put the transmission back on and it will not go back together. Anyone have and little tricks or hints to help me get it back together? I've been at this since about 9:30 this morning

Assuming you used the alignment tool on the clutch disc the issue is usually the input shaft not lining up with the clutch disc. I put the trans in gear and turn the output shaft while slipping the trans into place so it lines up properly.

You have to tilt the engine.

This may not help, but I hsd the same problem. Come to find out after hours of trying to get it together I called advance auto parts and had the check the part number and they had sold me the wrong clutch. After getting the right one from Napa auto it went back together very easy... Just throwing that out there.
